As Principal and Founder, Suzanne Langier launched The Gaaf Group Inc. in April 2025 after spending over two decades working in corporate settings with a clear mission: to help companies grow and thrive.
Suzanne is a seasoned executive and HR professional with over 25 years of experience in improving corporate culture, organizational performance, leadership development, HR operations, governance, and transformation. She has successfully coached emerging leaders and senior management across all aspects of organizational performance and talent management.
Prior to her most recent role as Chief Human Resources Officer, Suzanne worked in senior roles with start-ups, private and publicly traded companies—spanning from small to very large organizations supporting operations in more than 20+ countries globally.

Why "Gaaf"?
The story behind our name and what we stand for
More than a decade ago, I asked my middle son at the age of 5 what he wanted to do when he grew up. He said he wanted us to have a restaurant together. When I asked him what we would call it, he reflected and then said with a huge grin… 'Great always… awesome food'.
I took those words and that day the word 'Gaaf' was born. So I did what moms do—I took this to memory. Shortly after, I purchased the domain TheGaaf in the hopes one day we would make hamburgers and side dishes.
How serendipitous would it be that the very acronym he would suggest would have the same meaning in the Dutch language for Great and Awesome. The very words he used to describe our future together. One could say there are no coincidences. I would rather say he predicted the future, my little boy.
So I pay homage to little things that become our life's purpose when intention is applied. Yes, we may not be slinging burgers anytime in the future. But I see now that my son had much greater plans for us—to feed hearts and minds rather than the belly, in ways that matter most.

Her expertise includes organizational culture, performance improvement, leadership development, HR operations, governance, and transformation.
From Corporate Executive to Founder
Prior to founding The Gaaf Group, Suzanne served as a member of various executive teams and most recently as Chief Human Resources Officer. She has successfully coached emerging leaders and senior management across all aspects of organizational performance, talent management, and transformation—leading acquisitions, integrations, and cultural redefinition projects that address today's ever-changing business environment.
